(Total fee for 3 people £525) Embark on an unforgettable adventure with our Orkney Mainland Sight Seeing & Safari Tour, featuring some of Orkney’s most iconic and breathtaking vistas. Our journey begins at South Ronaldsay, known for its Churchill barriers and the UK's most northerly colony of Little terns. Here, we'll also spot Harbour seals and, in summer, the rare and beautiful Oysterplant. Next, we travel north to Cottascarth, renowned for its long-running raptor studies. Look out for the Hen Harrier and listen to the calls of Curlew and Cuckoo. Then, we venture to Birsay Moors, where Red Throated divers nest and Short Eared Owls hunt. The Loons, Orkney’s largest remaining wetland, offers sights of Curlew, Redshank, Snipe, and Lapwing. A short walk brings us to the dramatic Marwick Head cliffs, home to thousands of seabirds, including Guillemots and Puffins. Finally, we visit the Yesnaby cliffs, with their stunning views and potential sightings of the Scottish Primrose and even Orca. Binoculars, a spotting scope, hot drinks, and biscuits are provided. Enjoy a day filled with incredible wildlife and scenic beauty!
